After training as a journalist and working as a reporter and sub-editor, Stephen Jones studied for a degree as a mature student and went into teaching.  He currently teaches part time in a London FE college, working with adults who lack formal qualifications but want to go on to university.  He also continues to work as a journalist, writing a regular ‘As I Please’ type of column for The Times Educational Supplement.

He has written poetry and short stories, and has just finished Dime Novel, a contemporary thriller set in London, France and Italy.  He can be contacted via email.
